Good Points

  • Limited wear and tear of pot rim, slightly dented after durability testing.
  • Self basting spikes in the lid.
  • Good gap between handle and lid, easy to grip when wearing an oven mitt.
  • Good sized side handles with sufficient gap to grip when using oven mitts.
  • Enamelled cast iron body and lid easy to clean if food not baked on.
  • Smooth light coloured interior easy to clean.
  • Round shaped dutch oven fairly easy to clean in a domestic sink.

  • Moderate wear and tear of lid edge, enamel chipped.
  • Lid handle thread weakened. Lid handle twists easily can be tightened with a Philips head screw driver.
  • Slightly hard edges, only OK comfort to grip.
  • Interior enamel can be easily scratched.
  • Baked on residue may require extra effort to remove.
  • Acidic foods can stain the light enamel.
