Ariston A6TMC2 X AUS
Good Points
- One set of telescopic runners.
- Slide out storage compartment for trays and accessories.
- Very good layout of burners.
- Burner surround is moulded and easy to clean. All burners have a raised edge so liquid spills are less likely to run into workings.
Bad Points
- Only OK for oven and cooktop ease of use.
- Only OK coverage of catalytic liners.
- Reflective glass door shows fingerprints and smudges.
- No rapid heat, half grill and warm mode.
- No means of preventing grill/baking tray from being pulled right out if not using the telescopic runner.
- Grill/baking tray tilts slightly.
- Oven door needs to be opened when grilling.
- No separate grill rack, oven shelf and baking tray are used as a grill rack.
- Controls have limited grip with no cross bar.
- Cast iron trivets are fairly heavy and have a slightly rough surface, which makes cleaning an effort.
- No clock or automatic cooking program.
- Manual timer isn't particularly accurate.
- Spill catchment area has no separation from burner to burner.
- There is restricted access to some burners when in use due to proximity to other burners.
- Labelling is bonded and may scratch off or fade after prolonged cleaning.
- Unable to view controls in an upright position, need to bend or lower.
- Controls can be easily accessed by children – the controls are positioned at the front, below the cooktop.
