Good points

Good Points

  • Excellent cooktop.
  • Excellent for grilling.
  • Excellent for making scones.
  • Excellent for melting chocolate.
  • Excellent for meringues.
  • Excellent for stir-frying.
  • Excellent for white sauce.
  • Excellent oven performance.
  • Very good for pizza.
  • Very good for rice.
  • Very good for roasting chicken.
  • Accurate digital display of cooking zone setting shown front and centre of cooktop.
  • Glass surface has a non-slip film so it is less likely for pans to slide or move easily when stirring. Pans must be lifted to move.
  • Very good layout of hotplates (two flex zones and one large zone in the centre).
  • Easy-clean glass surface – spills won't bake on.
  • No touch controls on the cooktop surface so spills can be easily wiped up without any control sensors turning the cooktop settings off.
  • Good size controls with cross bar.
  • Number settings printed around the front face of the dial and on the digital display are easy to view. Possible that number settings around control dials will fade over time.
  • Has telescopic runners.
  • Preheat light around temperature dial switches from red to white once temperature is reached.
  • Separate 'on' indicator light.
  • Oven door is fairly light, soft closing – stays in position.
  • Full extension telescopic sliding shelf.
  • Recessed oven shelf increases usable volume.
Bad points

Bad Points

  • Cooktop may not have even heat distribution when using flexi zone due to different wattages – the heating is uneven.
  • Stainless steel frame around cooktop may require extra cleaning attention due to smudges and fingerprints.
  • Labelling on cooktop controls relating to each zone is faint and difficult to view due to reflective stainless steel.
  • Large bar sits above the controls – may obstruct view of controls for some people. May need to bend over to identify which control relates to each burner.
  • Possible that number settings around control dials will fade over time.
  • Grill tray can easily slide off supporting shelf when it's pulled out.
  • Grill tray does not slide into shelf support – it sits on the oven shelf.
  • Need to ensure baking tray is aligned under grill element.
  • The grill shelf has stoppers that prevent the shelf from being pulled out accidentally. The grill does not tilt down and has a large surface area. A grill rack insert is supplied and accommodates small items. Height adjustable and stable – ample grill positions.
  • Oven baking tray and shelves are difficult to clean in a domestic sink.
  • Oven controls are positioned at the front and children can easily access them.
  • Labelling on oven control dials is clear but somewhat obscured by additional handle above controls.
  • May need to refer to the manual initially to set the timers/clock.
  • Oven temperature control dial may not be accurate.
