Westinghouse WHG645WA
Good Points
- Very good overall.
- Excellent for low and high temperature cooking.
- Good for turn down performance.
- Good for ease of use.
- Wok trivet is provided.
- Layout positioning is very good, wok and simmer are positioned at the front.
- Pan support is good on all burners, except small burner.
- Controls are positioned at the side of the appliance making them less accessible to children.
- Trivets have a fairly smooth surface, making it easy to wipe over.
- White enamel surface very easy to clean and wipe over.
- Labelling is obvious as to which burner is for each control.
- Grading on controls with written labelling.
- Spill catchment area deep enough to contain spills but no separation from burner to burner.
- Burner surround is moulded and fairly easy to clean. All burners have a raised edge so liquid spills are less likely to run into workings.
Bad Points
- Need to use a trivet for small burner, only OK stability for a small pan or coffee pot.
- Only 3 out of 4 pots fit comfortably, there is restricted access to some burners.
- Cast iron trivets are fairly bulky and are heavy.
- Labelling is printed and may scratch off or fade after prolonged cleaning.
