Good Points
- Drawer is fairly light weight with load and comfortable to lift with one hand.
- Removable non-stick cooking rack with finger holes, easy to insert and remove.
- Drawer has a good-sized window, but the Halogen heat lamp/element will turn on and off intermittently.
- Digital display with touch controls, On/Off button is obvious, separate start control.
- Unit has a uniform compact size and shape, may fit comfortably into a cupboard. Easy to lift and move.
- Unit has a black plastic exterior which is easy to wipe over.
- Drawer and basket can be cleaned in a domestic sink but may require extra effort or soaking to remove any baked on residue.
Bad Points
- No written labelling, pre-programmed settings are symbols so may need to refer to the instruction manual initially. Relatively small symbols.
- Touch control display panel needs to be free from grease as it may not respond, easy to wipe over.
- Rubber feet on the grill rack comes off easily when cleaning.
- Can be difficult to clean around exposed element. No access to the fan, overtime residue can build up around the fan, may cause residue to burn on and cause the unit to expel unpleasant odours and smoke during use.
- Some cracks and crevices inside the door trap residue after washing the drawer. Condensation can become trapped between the glass/viewing window.
- No prompt to shake or turn the food.
- Basic instructions.
- Control panel is positioned at the front of the unit, may need to bend to view the controls.
- Maximum cooking time is only 30 minutes.
