Good Points
- Removable non stick cooking rack with finger holes, easy to insert and remove.
- Door has a large viewing window with internal light.
- Grip area under unit to assist in lifting.
- Unit has a black plastic exterior with some metal trim, mostly smooth surfaces, fairly easy to wipe over.
- Display is colourful.
- Comprehensive instructions with key diagrams and a cooking guide with a separate recipe book.
- Digital display is bright and clear. Has separate On/Off, start and pause controls.
Bad Points
- Drawer is heavy with load, need two hands to lift.
- Large unit can be difficult to store does not fit easily into a kitchen cupboard. Best left out on a bench top, takes up bench space.
- Start/ pause control may not be obvious, no contrasting colour.
- No manual setting for temperature and time, need to select a pre programmed setting then adjust temperature and time
- No written labelling., preprogramed settings are symbols, may need to refer to the instruction manual initially.
- Controls may not be intuitive, need to refer to the instruction manual initially.
- No prompt to shake/turn food.
- Control panel is on the front of the unit may need to bend slightly to view.
- Touch control display panel needs to be free from grease as it may not respond, easy to wipe over.
- Large drawer may be awkward to clean in a domestic sink, may require extra effort or soaking to remove any baked on residue.
- Viewing window requires extra attention. Condensation can build up inside the drawer between the glass. Residue can become trapped between the glass and be difficult to remove.
- Can be difficult to clean around exposed element. No access to the fan, overtime residue can build up around the fan, may cause residue to burn on and cause the unit to expel unpleasant odours and smoke during use.
