- On/off and start button appears when the unit is connected to power, contrast colour.
- Pre-programmed settings with adjustable time and temperature plus variable temperature selection.
- Digital display with touch controls.
- Some food can be viewed from the glass bowl during cooking.
- Audible feedback response to control selection and audible response to end of cooking.
- Unit has a black plastic exterior which is easy to wipe over.
- Unit has a uniform compact size and shape, may fit comfortably into a cupboard. OK to lift and move.
- Can adjust cooking time and temperature when cooking is in progress.
Bad Points
- No written labelling pre programmed settings are symbols may need to refer to the instruction manual initially.
- Cooking bowl is heavy with load 2.4kg and not comfortable to lift with one hand.
- Touch screen controls may not respond if there is grease or residue on the surface.
- The glass bowl has two handles, need to slide out the bowl to access the rear handle to lift easily, handles can become dangerously hot.
- Unit does not have a back cover at the rear of the unit. The bowl is exposed at the back, care needs to be taken when positioning the unit.
- Cooling fan continues to run after cooking time ends (approx. 20secs), can be annoying if you need to wait to restart.
- Glass bowl may require soaking to remove any baked on residue. Bowl is heavy can be awkward to handle when cleaning.
- Wire shield over fan and element reduces grease splatters but can be difficult to clean, is not removable. With no access to the fan and element, over time residue can build up around the fan, may cause residue to burn on and cause the unit to expel unpleasant odours and smoke during use.
