  • Wi-Fi network is needed to access recipes that will remotely control the mixer.
  • Digital display is fairly bright and clear.
  • Sealed pressed buttons.
  • Labelling is clear with written labelling and symbols used.
  • Blade shaft can be removed easily making it easier to clean the bowl.
  • Graded measurements inside jug.
  • Easy to assemble and disassemble.
  • Slow cooking function.
  • Fairly easy to position and fit the lid (with arrows showing direction).
  • Ability to adjust time / speed and temp without stopping / pausing the machine for stir function.
  • Bowl can heat without speed function in use.
  • Transparent lid for viewing during processing.
  • Fairly good selection of recipes on the App.
Bad points

Bad Points

  • Only OK for ease of use.
  • Only OK for connection process because the account creation step is a bit confusing.
  • Blade handles have no grip and limited area to hold. Difficult to remove from bowl after processing, therefore making it difficult to scrape out heavy loads, batters and cake mixtures.
  • Following recipes and pre set functions the speed setting is restricted to speed 6 when temperatures are above 105°C, however they can be manually adjusted.
  • Liquids can boil over onto lid if temperature is increased above 100°C using pre-programmed recipes eg soups.
  • Limited in simple task instructions and basic recipes.
  • No handle on bowl to grip when pouring out ingredients, scraping out the bowl is difficult.
  • Strong smelling foods can leave the jug smelling, need to use bicarb soda to remove any odours.
  • Small side handles with little to no grip makes it slightly difficult to scrape out and pour mixture from heavy bowl.
  • Using the App initial navigation can be confusing and may not be intuitive when using an iPhone or iPad to access recipes. (universal power on/off symbol next to search line is confusing).
  • Very heavy bowl weighs 2.6kg.
  • Food prep (food processor attachment) can be fiddly to assemble. Sits loosely and moves when processing. Food prep has a small round chute difficult to guide narrow vegetables, result can be unevenly sliced.
  • Machine can jolt on bench when turning on to speed 12.
  • Unable to perform precise cooking. ie melting chocolate.
  • Need to dismantle the lid, removing the rubber seal and the inner section for cleaning fairly easy, may need to replace the rubber seal overtime.
  • No cord storage.
