  • Degree-by-degree temperature control (in 1°C increments).
  • Ability to continue to cook with the blades stopped, using temperature only.
  • Stainless steel jug and BPA-free.
  • Lower exterior temperature due to insulated jug.

Bad points

Bad Points

  • This model is not recommended as it fails safety requirements: there is no safety cut off for speed when heating above 60°C.
  • Borderline for ease of use.
  • Expensive (commercial machine).
  • Controls are not intuitive; initially need to refer to the manual.
  • Digital display is faint and moves across the screen.
  • Noisy during operation.
  • Instruction manual is difficult to comprehend with many steps for each process.
  • Rubber seal around lid is annoying as it can fall off and awkward to replace if the rubber seal is not correctly positioned.
  • Difficult to scrape around the blade.
  • Crevices in the lid can trap food and water; need to clean and dry well.
  • SD card is installed at the back of the unit, need to unscrew a metal plate at the back to install and remove.
  • Cooling fan runs for approx 20 mins after cooking, noisy and annoying.
  • Need some knowledge of cooking methods (programmed recipes show one step at a time and ingredients are displayed at each step).
  • Seals on jug lid and steamer tray may need replacing over time.
  • Some mixture is wasted around the blade and bottom of the jug as it is difficult to remove.
  • Some recipes may need to be adjusted as some performed not so well following the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Ridge around the chute on the lid traps ingredients.
  • Strong smelling foods can leave the jug smelling; need to use bicarb soda to remove any odours.
