Bad Points
- This model is not recommended as it fails safety requirements: when heating above 60°C the speed setting doesn't cut out. (If speed selection is above six the heating is disabled, but if the liquid is hot to begin with, this might not prevent dangerous spillages. We also don't recommend this model because of the brand's substandard customer service.
- Expensive (payment plan available).
- Care is needed when removing the lid to avoid scalds from steam or hot dripping liquid.
- Can trap food odours, need to soak jug with bicarb soda after cooking strong smelling foods.
- Only OK for slow cooking.
- Noisy and annoying when cooking for a period of time.
- Can be difficult to scrape off thick batters from around the blade.
- Jug can become dangerously hot.
- Jolts and can move when kneading.
- Touch controls are sensitive.
- Extra expense to update recipe chips.
- Chute lid doesnt lock into the lid and can easily fall out when removing the lid.
- Unable to heat without using a speed.
- When heating above 60°C the speed setting doesnt cut out. If speed selection is above six the heating is disabled.
- Scales may not be accurate and can be out by as much as 5g.
