Good points

Good Points

  • Excellent for cooking performance.
  • Easy to assemble and disassemble. Parts fit fairly easily and there is not too many parts.
  • Sauté and kneading auto speed function.
  • Digital display is bright and clear.
  • Clear basic labelling with illuminated controls.
  • Ability to adjust time, speed and temp without stopping / pausing the machine.
  • Measuring cap lid.
  • Graded measurements inside jug.
  • Inbuilt scales.
  • When timer is set and speed is stopped during processing, the timer will keep.
  • No exposed electricals so jug can be placed in the unit wet.
  • Spatula has protective guard so it can be used to assist stirring / pushing ingredients down while processing.
  • Small steamer basket can be safely removed using accessory supplied.
  • All parts are dishwasher safe, except for the blade.
  • The maximum speed that can be selected in hot mode is 5.

  • Only OK for ease of use.
  • Controls are not completely sealed some cracks and crevices can trap dirt and grime.
  • Unit shakes with heavy load on speeds 5 and over.
  • Jug can become hot during cooking.
  • Unit is quite noisy when processing on high speed.
  • No cord storage.
  • Difficult to remove loads, especially batters and cake mixtures due to narrow base.
  • Some of the mixture is wasted around the blade and bottom of the jug as it is difficult to remove around the blade.
  • Controls are not completely sealed some cracks and crevices can trap dirt and grime.
  • Lid can be a little stiff to close and open.
  • Lid can jam and become difficult to unlock. Is an issue for someone with hand / finger weakness.
  • Rubber seal around lid can be awkward to replace.
  • During steaming condensation builds up under the lid and water can drip onto unit and bench.
  • Inbuilt scales are sensitive and respond a little slowly so you need to slowly add the ingredients and wait for it to balance.
  • Seals on jug lid and steamer tray may need replacing over time.
  • Butterfly whisk can be difficult to clean with food getting in cracks and crevices.
  • Exterior has cracks and crevices where bowl sits on the base, a hole in the cavity drains any spills. OK to wipe out cavity.
  • Strong smelling foods can leave the jug smelling need to soak with bicarb soda to remove any odours.
