- Timer will not start to count down until set temperature has been reached. Display shows 'add food' and makes an audible sound once temperature has been reached.
- Audible sound when timer ends.
- Display will prompt user to 'turn food' and is printed on digital display.
- User can find cooking guide and videos online on the Instant Pot website.
Bad Points
- Cooling fan is noisy.
- Control dial used to set temperature, increases in 3°C increments.
- Some brushed stainless steel on front of unit and requires extra attention when cleaning.
- Interior walls, floor and ceiling are stainless steel and can discolour over time.
- Difficult to clean around element and fan.
- Large square cooking basket may be awkward to clean in a domestic sink.
- No viewing window.
- Large unit, may be difficult to store.
- Fairly basic instruction manual.
- Unable to add additional cooking time once cooking mode has been set. Need to re-select cooking time and function.
