Locality Planning Energy (LPE) is an Australian-owned company with offices and a call centre in Maroochydore, Queensland. Established in 2014, while it currently operates in Queensland and a few parts of New South Wales, LPE intends to expand operations nationwide.

In addition to embedded networks, LPE promotes home solar and shared solar through its Solar Bank program. This involves installing a solar battery to reduce customer dependence on the grid. Customers can also earn financial rewards (feed-in tariffs) for selling excess solar battery power back to LPE.

It also has the Solar for Strata program, which is a shared solar initiative for apartments and townhouses. LPE funds, supplies and maintains the solar system so there are no upfront costs for the body corporate or residents.
