Good Points
- Very good for performance.
- Sealed bowl, easier to clean and does not spill ingredients onto unit or when removing blades.
- Has a large chute with a safety lock.
- Comprehensive instructions with recipes.
- All parts except blender can be stored in bowl.
- 1.5L blender included.
- Blender is very good for blending partially frozen smoothies.
Bad Points
- Only OK for ease of use.
- Not very stable on the bench and can move with a heavy load or when removing bowl.
- Processing blade needs to be placed over the spindle and placed into the bowl – blades can get stuck onto the spindle.
- Processing blade have limited grip area, so extra care needed to remove from spindle.
- Slicing and shredding blades that slide into a plastic disc. These blades have limited grip, so care needs to be taken when assembling and disassembling.
- No ON indicator light.
- Lid sits very firmly in the glass jug (due to rubber seal around lid).
- Very noisy.
- No storage box supplied.
- When the blender is being locked into place on the motor unit or being removed, the blade housing can be loosened.
- Maximum run-time is only 38 sec with a heavy load.
- Blender is borderline for blending fibrous leafy food.
- Blender is only OK for crushing ice.
- Blender is poor for chopping hard foods.
- Large flimsy dial knob with grip – dial pointer and setting label may not align.
