Good Points
- Basic controls, easy to use with clear labelling. Dial control for speed 1 and 2, plus pulse.
- Lightweight unit with suction feet, stable on bench.
- Labelling on unit to indicate bowl and lid locking position.
- Processor bowl has measurement grading.
- Accessories provided include, reversible slicing and shredding discs, 1.5L plastic blender, chopper blade, mixing blade and creamer attachment (whisk).
- Chute on blender lid as well as measuring cap which locks into place.
- Black plastic exterior is easy to wipe over.
- Processing bowl is easy to clean in a domestic sink.
- OK to clean blender in a domestic sink. Fairly easy to scrape out load around blade.
- Very good blender performance.
- Personal blender attachments: easy to clean cups.
Bad Points
- No grip on control dial.
- No ON indicator light.
- Need to manually turn the dial to activate the pulse.
- Bowl is not sealed, overfilling can cause spills onto the unit.
- Separate spindle needs to be attached to the base of the unit first, under the processor bowl. Each time you remove the processor bowl, the spindle remains on base and can be easily knocked.
- Processing blade needs to be placed over the spindle and positioned into place, may be difficult to remove from spindle due to limited grip area on blade – extra care needed when removing blade from spindle.
- Reversible slicing and shredding blades have limited grip. Care needs to be taken when assembling and disassembling.
- Blender lid does not lock onto jug. Can be difficult to remove, strength required.
- No storage box supplied, most food processor accessories can be stored inside the bowl when not in use. Blender requires extra storage.
- Some cracks and crevices around controls that can trap grime.
- Due to limited grip on the blades, it can be difficult to safely hold blades for cleaning.
- Blender base is not removable for cleaning.
- Very noisy on high speed.
- Blender makes a whining noise during operation.
- Possible hand access to slicing/shredding blades through large chute, no safety lock feature on chute.
