Good Points
- Easy to use large control dial with cross bar.
- Bowl is stable on the bench, has a wide base.
- Comprehensive instructions with some recipes.
- Splash guard is attached to the underside of the mixer head around the shaft. Easy to attach and remove.
- Do not need to remove the splash guard to change tools or to scrape down bowl as the guard lifts away from the bowl when the motor head is lifted.
- Easy to add ingredients while guard is on, good size opening.
- Chute on guard has a lid, stops any splashing of ingredients.
- Parts are easy to clean in a domestic sink.
- White enamel exterior easy to clean.
- Tools can be stored inside bowl when not in use.
- Has 2 outlets (high speed and low speed) for optional attachments.
- Spatula included.
- Mixing tool heights are adjustable.
Bad Points
- Spring loaded motor head, however need to manually lift motor head all the way up to lock into place. Unit can jolt slightly when locking motor head into place.
- Unit can still operate when motor head is lifted.
- No handle on bowl, only a small lip around bowl, which is quite sharp.
- No handle can make removing the load difficult.
- Bowl may jam on after mixing, strength required to unlock it.
- May need to adjust mixing tool height, this requires some strength to loosen the bolt. No adjustment tool supplied.
- No eject button to remove beater, twist and unlock from position, hand can come in contact with mixture.
