- Removable non-stick cooking plates, the plates have a grip area to aid in removing the plate from the drawer.
- Two pull out drawers are fairly easy to clean in a domestic sink.
- Non-stick cooking plates are easy to remove and clean in a domestic sink.
- Fairly comprehensive instructions. Includes separate cooking guide and quick guide. Recipe book can be downloaded from the Tefal website.
- Sync function so both zones can end at the same time or match each zone to same temperature and time.
Bad Points
- No viewing window.
- Poor result for multiple shelf cooking.
- Some written labelling but mainly symbols, need to refer to the manual.
- Controls may not be intuitive, need to refer to the instruction manual initially.
- Relatively large, rectangular, symmetrical unit, may not be suitable to store. Only OK to lift and move, no handles to assist in lifting.
- Touch control display panel needs to be free from grease as it may not respond.
- Can be difficult to clean around exposed element inside unit. Over time may cause residue to burn on and cause the unit to expel unpleasant odours and smoke during use.
- Unit has a stainless steel front with black plastic exterior some crevices to trap residue. Stainless steel shows smudges.
- Large drawer is reasonably heavy with load.
- Cooling fan continues to run after cooking time ends (approx. 20 seconds), can be annoying if you need to wait to restart.
