Good Points
- Digital display with touch screen controls. Unit has a start/stop button and it appears when connected to power.
- Large removable non-stick plate. Finger holes aid in inserting and removing. Arrows on the plate need to match up with arrow on air fryer drawer for correct placement.
- Digital display is large and bright.
- 7 auto-cook function settings plus variable temperature selection. Can adjust time and temperature when cooking in progress.
- Drawer accommodates 600g chips comfortably. Could fit more but may take longer to cook.
- The drawer has a large handle which is comfortable to grip.
- Carry handle on the top of the unit to assist in lifting.
- Comprehensive instructions with a cooking guide.
- Audible feedback response when selecting functions. Audible sound when timer ends. 5 loud beeps.
Bad Points
- No written labelling, symbols only. Need to refer to the manual initially. Most settings are small.
- Not easy to comprehend, need to refer to the instruction manual initially.
- Touch control display panel needs to be free from grease as it may not respond.
- Control panel is positioned at the front of the unit, may need to bend to view the controls.
- Can be difficult to clean around exposed element. No access to the fan, overtime residue can build up around the fan, may cause residue to burn on and cause the unit to expel unpleasant odours and smoke during use.
- No prompts to 'shake or turn' during cooking.
- Drawer is reasonably heavy with load.
- Relatively large unit with a rounded shape only OK to store, takes up bench space. May not fit easily into a kitchen cupboard. Best left out on a bench top.
- No cooking guide on unit.
- Gold shiny handle which may require extra attention, shows fingerprint marks.
- Drawer and basket can be cleaned in a domestic sink, may require extra effort or soaking to remove any baked on residue.
