This MSI Modern 14 C11M isn't as current as MSI would have you believe, running an 11th generation Intel Core i5 CPU from 2021. That's not a huge problem, because if you're just running some everyday office apps, attending online meetings, and undertaking light photo or video editing work, it will handle those tasks just fine. There is an IPS screen and an ample amount of connections on the side, but the USB-C port is not Thunderbolt and two of its three USB-A ports are version 2.0. It has a relatively small capacity battery that doesn't last very long (it averaged under four hours in our tests), but it can be charged to 80 per cent capacity in about one hour.
