Expert tester comments
The Microsoft Surface Pro enters its 11th edition with a new Snapdragon processor that aims to boost performance and efficiency over previous Intel-based models. If you're upgrading from 2022's 9th edition model, for example (the 10th only came out in the first quarter of 2024), then you'll see definite improvements in battery life, processing, storage speed, Wi-Fi speed, and even the webcam. The ease of use remains the high, with a very good touchscreen, and a very good detatachable keyboard, but since it relies on a kickstand, it can be difficult to use in a lap. While the Snapdragon performs well in everyday tasks, there may be some software (such as recent high-profile games) that might not run on it.
