Microsoft's 7th edition of the Surface Laptop embraces the Snapdragon processor, which, with its dedicated neural processing unit (NPU), has a focus on AI. The NPU comes in handy when running tasks such as Live Captions, leaving the main processor to deal with other tasks. The laptop itself has not changed much physically from the previous generation, with the main difference being the processing technology. While the Snapdragon performs well in everyday tasks, there may be some software (such as recent high-profile games) that might not run on it.
