HP's Laptop 15s is a basic laptop for under $1000, which would be fine except that it has a low resolution screen that also suffers from poor viewing angles. It can be frustrating to view the screen unless the angle is exact. Luckily, there is an HDMI port for an external screen, so the laptop can be used more comfortably as part of a desktop setup.
