Apple's iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard and Pencil is the standard for tablets that can be used as laptop-style computers. The Magic Keyboard suspends the iPad Pro tablet above the keyboard, which itself has backlit keys that are comfortable to hit, as well as a small touchpad that can be used for navigation. It's costly, but it's a high-end machine with 2TB of internal storage and fast Apple M2 processor.
