Relatively expensive, large capacity food dehydrator, faster dehydrating times than most tested.
Excellent performance results for all tests. Dehydrating times may not be accurate.
The Optimum performed very well. The unit is large and bulky which makes it difficult to store.
Compact unit relatively cheap, no timer. Best for foods that don’t have an excessive amount of moisture as it does need a long drying time
The Sunbeam Food Lab has very good controls - easy to use and access.
