Erin Turner

Erin Turner was director of campaigns and communications at CHOICE from 2014 to 2022. She divided her time between helping our campaigners fight for better laws and working to help our experts get their message to the world through the media or social media. She originally joined CHOICE as a policy and campaigns adviser, calling for fairer treatment of people in the credit card market and fighting for financial advisers to treat customers fairly. She previously worked in policy and government-relations roles for other not-for-profits, including the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) and the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN). She has an arts degree with a major in archaeology, and a Master of Politics and Public Policy. She's also a board member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) and the Chair of the Financial Rights Legal Centre board. You can find her on Twitter and LinkedIn.
