Bad Points
- Serious safety failure: The cot is able to be installed in more than two positions, and based on the maximum recommended mattress thickness the cot is not deep enough in its highest position when the dropside is closed and open.
- Serious safety failure: Upper corners of the cot ends near the dropside can snag onto clothing, posing a strangulation hazard once the baby is able to sit and stand upright.
- Serious safety failure: Gaps between the underside of the mattress base and fixed side pose a limb entrapment hazard.
- Minor safety failure: Some sharp edges on the cot ends.
- Very minor failures of information requirements.
- Note: The manufacturer disputes our findings.
- Update Feb 2016: The ACCC has recalled this cot because of the incorrectly recommended mattress; contact Chukles for the correct mattress.
