- Serious safety failure: Gaps between the underside of the mattress base and fixed side pose a limb entrapment hazard. Serious safety failure: Supplied plugs for the screwholes came loose after our tension test and can pose a choking hazard.
- Minor safety failure: Finger or limb entrapment hazard between the mattress base and bottom of the dropside.
- Minor safety failure: Dropside does not operate smoothly, will need to loosen the screws on cot ends in order for it to slide down.
- Minor safety failure: The mattress base has more than two designated positions.
- Very minor failures of information requirements.
- Doesn't have a swing tag. This is a tag on the product in store with information about the supplier and required mattress dimensions. However, this is on the mattress base.In response to our findings the supplier says it has a certificate report saying it has passed the latest cot standard. CHOICE stands by its results.
