Good Points

  • Thermometer in hood is fairly accurate.
  • Good open access to food, no problem with smoke being directed into face.
  • Two fixed wheels and 2 lockable roller wheels, easy to manoeuvre, lift side tables to access handles.
  • Large caddy at the front of the BBQ for storage and utensil hooks.
  • Open shelf in the trolley for gas bottle or for extra storage.
  • 3 controls for each burner, jet ignition easy to light. Large knobs with grip, grading on controls is clear.
  • Slight resistance to positive positioning on high/low temperatures.
  • Small fat tray that sits under the BBQ. Optional, foil disposable trays can be inserted into drip tray, easy to remove.
  • Side tables fold in and are removable for easy storing and lifting.
  • 3 piece BBQ plates full char grill.
  • Large control dials with rubber grip, grading on controls is clear.
  • Exterior surface and side tables easy to wipe over.

Bad Points

  • No side panels to protect food and flame from drafts .
  • Hood can become dangerously hot.
  • Small plastic side tables are not very stable, smooth surface so need to be careful items do not slide off.
  • Hotplate is an optional extra for centre burner only.
  • Need to bend over to view the controls and lighting the BBQ.
  • Fat drips under burners then drains into fat tray, need to clean under burners can be awkward.
  • BBQ can be removed from the trolley to transport, although BBQ unit is wide so can be a little awkward to carry any distance.
  • The BBQ has some crevices to trap grease, can be difficult to clean .
