Good Points

  • Side tables, one side is collapsible. The other side table has a removable stainless steel top. Optional extras can be purchased for extra storage in side table.
  • Good open access to food, no problem with smoke being directed into face.
  • Cupboard and shelf within the trolley for extra storage.
  • 3 large dials with grip, clear labelling, temperature dial is graded .
  • Slide out fat tray easy to access at the front , Optional, foil disposable trays can be inserted into drip tray, easy to remove.
  • Gas bottle hooks onto a tank scale that indicates level of gas left in the cylinder.
  • Easy to connect gas bottle, connection is fitted with new regulator.
  • Easy rolling, 4 large lockable casters can roll in independent directions, handles for easy manoeuvring.
  • Digital thermometer measures the hotplate temperature, accurate for centre area of the hotplate only.
  • Labelling is around the control dial less bending when lighting BBQ.
  • Large drip hole, bottom left corner of hotplate, where grease can be scraped to a large drip tray that slides out and is easily accessed at the front.
  • Hood is enamel coated and fairly easy to wipe over and clean.
  • Assembly instructions are good, hardware pack is well organised.
  • Comprehensive instructions. User can gain access to recipes and user guide digitally, by scanning QR code on paperwork provided with the BBQ.
  • Controls have a slight resistance to positive positioning.

Bad Points

  • Minimal side panels to protect from drafts, however all hotplate, so flame is mostly protected from the elements.
  • No option for a chargrill plate .
  • Hotplate is large and heavy, only ok to remove when cleaning around burners.
  • Hood is for storage only unable to close during cooking.
  • The BBQ has some crevices to trap grease, can be difficult to clean but good access to all areas.
  • Hotplate is removable, however very heavy and awkward to hold. Gives access to cleaning around burners.
  • Exterior is mostly stainless steel can show fingerprint marks and requires extra attention when cleaning.
  • 2.5hrs assembly time and no tools provided.
  • Side table can become dangerously hot.
