Good Points
- Good result for steaming broccoli.
- Removable non stick cooking rack with finger holes, easy to insert and remove.
- Large water tank on the top of the unit easy to remove, fill and empty – used for steaming.
- Small grip area under unit to assist in lifting.
- Digital display is fairly bright with touch controls. Separate On/Off control and a start/ pause control.
- Written labelling for functions and symbols for pre programmed settings.
- Prompts to 'shake or turn' during cooking.
- Unit has a mostly black plastic exterior with some metal trim, mostly smooth surfaces.
- Steam clean function – helps to remove odours and loosens baked on residue.
Bad Points
- Drawer is heavy with a load, need two hands to lift.
- Handle has a press release button to open the drawer this can be annoying.
- Large unit can be difficult to store does not fit easily into a kitchen cupboard. Best left out on a bench top, takes up bench space.
- Start/ pause control not obvious no contrasting colour.
- Settings are small and faint the control panel is crowded can be difficult to navigate initially.
- Control panel is on the front of the unit need to bend down to view.
- Controls may not be intuitive, need to refer to the instruction manual initially.
- Touch control display panel needs to be free from grease as it may not respond, easy to wipe over.
- Large drawer and rack can be difficult to clean in a domestic sink, may require extra effort or soaking to remove any baked on residue.
- Can be difficult to clean around exposed element. No access to the fan, overtime residue can build up around the fan, may cause residue to burn on and cause the unit to expel unpleasant odours and smoke during use.
