Good Points
- Twin drawer air fryer (1 small and 1 large).
- Excellent result for dual basket cooking.
- Digital display with touch screen controls. Unit has an on/off button that appears when connected to power, need to select the drawer 1 or 2 to display the other settings.
- The small drawer has a removable non-stick plate with finger holes to grip.
- Controls are positioned on the top of the unit and angled for easy viewing.
- The large drawer is reasonably heavy with load.
- Digital display is large and fairly bright.
- 8 preset settings plus variable temperature selection. Can adjust time and temperature when cooking in progress.
- Audible feedback response when selecting functions.
- The drawer has a large handle which is comfortable to grip.
- User can download the HomeID app onto their smart phone or device and access recipes tailored to your air fryer. The app also allows the user to view the user manual and also provides tips and tricks for air frying. Recipes in the app are easy to follow with clear steps and photos.
Bad Points
- The large drawer has a removable basket. No side handles to lift out the basket.
- Large unit with a uniform rectangular shape, only OK to store, takes up bench space. May not fit easily into a kitchen cupboard. Best left out on a bench top. No handles to assist in lifting.
- u0026#032: No written labelling, symbols only. Need to refer to the manual initially. The symbols are small and faint.
- Controls may not be easy to comprehend, need to refer to the instruction manual initially.
- Touch control display panel needs to be free from grease as it may not respond, easy to wipe over.
- Faint audible sound when timer ends, 3 beeps when cooking completed.
- Drawer and basket can be cleaned in a domestic sink, may require extra effort or soaking to remove any baked on residue.
- The stainless steel interior is OK to wipe over, however baked on residue may stain and be difficult to remove.
- Removable basket has stainless steel rivets inside and under the basket that can stain and can trap residue.
- Can be difficult to clean around exposed element. No access to the fan, overtime residue can build up around the fan, may cause residue to burn on and cause the unit to expel unpleasant odours and smoke during use.
- Literature provided in the box is very basic. Mostly diagrams. Multiple languages. No cooking guide or recipes. QR code on front of literature can be used to download PDF of full user manual which has a cooking guide.
