The HP Chromebook 14a is relatively inexpensive laptop that could be considered if you are entrenched in the Google product ecosystem. It is a simple device without any flare, so you don't get things such as a backlit keyboard, a vibrant screen, or fast performance. The screen has narrow viewing angles that can make photos look dark or poorly defined depending on the angle of tilt. The performance can be sluggish, at times, depending on the sites or apps (from Google Play Store) that are in use, but for the most part it will be fine for everyday Google Docs work, media streaming, and online communication.
