The ASUS Chromebook Detachable is primarily a tablet device, but it ships with a keyboard that allows it to also be used as a laptop. It's small and very light, and if you don't mind Chrome OS, it can be a useful little device for consuming media. The small form factor means the keyboard can feel uncomfortable, so it should be used more for short bursts of typing rather than essays. The CPU is slow, so performance might also be an issue depending on the task, but we still found it to be usable for simple things, and could even use the supplied stylus for some handwriting and drawing u002du002d though there was a slight delay between making and seeing a mark on the screen.
