Haier HCG604WFCG1
Good Points
- Excellent for low temperature cooking.
- Good for turn down performance.
- Very good for high temperature cooking.
- Layout positioning is very good, wok burner and simmer burner are positioned at the front.
- Pan support is good, stable on all burners.
- Trivets have a fairly smooth cast iron finish making them easier to clean.
- 4 individual, fairly light weight cast iron trivets are easy to clean in a domestic sink.
- Burner surround is moulded and fairly easy to clean. All burners have a raised edge so liquid spills are less likely to run into workings.
- Labelling is protected under glass.
Bad Points
- Only OK for ease of use.
- Only 3 out of 4 pots fit comfortably, there is restricted access to some burners.
- No wok trivet supplied.
- Controls are positioned at the front of the cook top making them accessible to children.
- No grading line on controls, only small and big flame symbol.
- Very shallow spill catchment around each burner, mostly due to raised area that holds individual trivet in place.
- Glass ceramic surface OK to clean, may require extra attention to remove smudges and streak marks.
- Cleaning around catchment area of burner can be fiddly.
