Falcon Classic deluxe CDL90DF + Colour
Good Points
- Very good layout of burners.
- Cooktop pan support is good – stable on all burners.
- Handle attached to shelf support for ease of sliding grill shelf in and out.
- Tall oven has four wire shelves – ample shelf positions.
- Tall oven has a plate warming rack provided.
- Baking tray and shelves are easy to clean in a domestic sink.
Bad Points
- Controls are positioned at the front of the oven below the cooktop – may need to bend or lower to view all controls.
- Labelling can be a little confusing initially as to which control is for which burner – no grading line.
- Only OK to slide pots and pans across the hotplates as trivets are raised.
- Burners are surrounded by aluminium, which can stain easily and make it harder to clean.
- Cast iron trivets on cooktop are heavy, bulky and divided into 3 – can be difficult to clean in a domestic sink.
- No internal light in grill compartment – may be difficult to view food.
- Can be awkward to remove roasting tray from door rack when hot – maximum weight is 5.5kg and can only be used with supplied roasting tin.
- Fan cooking in tall oven only.
- Fat and oil may splash out when opening door of main oven – need to take care.
- No viewing window in tall oven.
- Side opening doors for both ovens – doors are light, however some strength required to open, and may swing back.
- Tall oven has a thermostat on the door – does not give temperature reading only grading. May not be accurate.
- Oven shelf supports are only OK to remove – the catalytic liners are also supported by them.
- Oven has some cracks and crevices – OK to wipe over black finish but difficult to remove blackened residue.
- Relatively small baking volume.
