Omega OC64KB
Good Points
- Element positioning is very good, medium cooking zone and simmer cooking zone are positioned at the front.
- Basic controls, easy to use.
- Control dials can be removed for easier cleaning.
- No metal edging around cooktop.
Bad Points
- Basic selection of cooking zones (2 simmer u0026 2 medium), not suitable for pans or saucepans with large surface area.
- Cooking zones dimensions are not obvious.
- Largest cooking zone does not accommodate a pan with a base size more than 19cm.
- When using a large fry pan on the medium cooking zone (left front), pan sits very close to the edge and may easily be knocked.
- Controls are positioned at the front on the right and does not have child lock.
- Any spills around or on the cooking zone can bake on, may need special ceramic glass cleaner or a glass scraper to remove.
- No outline around cooking zones. May not be obvious when pan slides off cooking zone which may cause uneven heating of pan and cooking.
- Surface temperatures may become hot near controls.
- No separate on/off switch.
- No ON indicator light.
- A little fiddly to clean around control dials.
