Inalto ICC604K.1
Good Points
- Excellent for cooking a delicate food.
- Very good for simmering.
- Basic control dials, easy to use.
- Very good element positioning, medium left front and simmer cooking zone right front.
- Obvious as to which control is for each cooking zone. Both cooking zone and control is labelled with a prominent letter (A,B, C, and D).
- Dial knobs are removable, a rubber seal around the knobs prevents spillages from going into workings.
- Fairly comprehensive instructions, but no cooking guide.
- No metal edging around cooktop.
Bad Points
- Only OK for turn down test.
- No separate on/off switch. The only way the user will know that the cooktop is on is from the light of the element of the cooking zone and if the residual heat indicator light is on (or the knob). The residual heat indicators are red dots located on a grid at the front of the cooktop – one for each zone.
- Dials are very close to cooking zone. Dial controls may become hot.
- Surface area may not accommodate all cooking zones at the same time.
- Largest cooking zone does not accommodate a pan with a base size more than 20cm.
- Pan slides easily on glass surface when stirring.
- Controls have no tactile feedback so setting may not be accurate.
- A little fiddly cleaning around control dials.
- Any spills around or on the cooking zone can bake on, may need special ceramic glass cleaner or a glass scraper to remove.
- No child proof lock on controls, however less likely for children to access controls, positioned along right side.
