Beko BCT601IGN
Good Points
- Obvious as to which control for each cooking zone.
- Four separate controls for each cooking zone.
- 1 flexi zone which can be used as 2 independent hotplates or as one single to accommodate a rectangular/oval cooking pan.
- No edge. Touch controls easy to wipe over and clean.
Bad Points
- Borderline result for turn down test.
- Only OK for stir fry test.
- Flexi zone may not have even heat distribution.
- Need to touch or slide finger along numerical power selector to select setting, only OK for larger fingers. Only some number settings are written.
- Only accommodates 3 cooking zones at the same time.
- The flexi zone has a width of only 18cm and the large cooking zone is 21cm in diameter. Saucepan/pan larger than 21cm in diameter may not be efficient.
- Some cookware may not be compatible even though it states induction suitable, avoid box sets as not all pots included in the set may be compatible.
- Pan slides easily on glass surface when stirring, need to keep pan within the cooking zone.
- Relatively high running costs.
- Does not allow flexi zone to heat on boost.
- Controls must be kept free of grease and moisture otherwise they will not respond to touch.
