Beko BCT601CG
Good Points
- Basic control dials, easy to use.
- Very good element positioning, large dual and simmer cooking zones are positioned at the front.
- No metal edging around cooktop.
- Control dials can be removed for easier cleaning.
Bad Points
- On indicator light is faint and not obvious.
- Largest cooking zone does not accommodate a pan with a base size more than 19cm.
- When using a large fry pan on the medium cooking zone, pan sits a little close to dials.
- Only 3 control settings, does not give the user a big range.
- A little fiddly cleaning around control dials.
- Any spills around or on the cooking zone can bake on, may need special ceramic glass cleaner or a glass scraper to remove.
- Surface temperatures may become hot near controls.
- No child proof lock on controls, however less likely for children to access controls, positioned along right side.
- No separate on/off switch.
