Good Points
- Twin drawer, stacked on top of each other, both same size.
- Excellent result for dual basket cooking.
- Medium size baskets, fairly light weight with a load.
- Fairly comfortable to lift with one hand.
- Digital display with press controls and dial, digital display is bright and clear.
- Controls are fairly intuitive, written labelling for functions with indicator lights for most settings.
- Control panel is positioned separately at the side of the unit, easy to access and view.
- Sync u0026 match mode. Sync mode will sync the two zones to end cooking at the same time. Match mode will match the time and temperature to each zone.
- Removable non-stick cooking plates. The plates have a small grip area to aid in removing the plate from the drawer.
- Drawers have large comfortable handles, easy to grip.
- Can adjust time and temperature while cooking is in progress.
- Basic cooking guide sticker on unit.
- Claims to have a BPA free inner coating.
- Unit has a black plastic exterior which is easy to wipe over. Mostly smooth exterior surface.
- Control panel is sealed except around the dial, easy to wipe over.
- Drawer and basket can be cleaned in a domestic sink, both drawers are light weight and easy to handle when cleaning.
- Stainless steel racks are only OK to clean, can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
- Comprehensive instructions and diagrams, plus a quick start guide and comprehensive cooking chart.
Bad Points
- Unit is tall with a uniform upright rectangular shape, would not fit comfortably into a cupboard, best left on the bench or butlers pantry. Difficult to lift and move. No handles to assist in lifting.
- No pre-programmed settings.
- No audible feedback response to control selection.
- No prompt to shake or turn the food.
- The interior has a metal surface and around the element is only OK to clean. It can stain and baked on residue may be difficult to clean.
- Can be difficult to clean around exposed elements. No access to the fans, overtime residue can build up around the fan, may cause residue to burn on and cause the unit to expel unpleasant odours and smoke during use.
- Claims that it can accommodate approximately two 2.3kg chickens or 2.3kg of wings in each drawer, however this may not be accurate.
