- Unit is a uniform, compact size and shape.
- Large extended piece at the back to wrap the cord around, also prevents the unit being pushed up against a wall allowing for ventilation.
- Dials have clear written labelling.
- Digital display has written labelling for all functions and pre-programed settings.
- Prompts user to shake or turn the food.
- The screen changes colour to orange to indicate the start of the cooking.
- The display will show a selection of programs for selection easy to navigate.
- Drawer and basket can be cleaned in a domestic sink.
- When the bowl and drawer are separate they are lightweight and easy to handle when cleaning.
- Comprehensive instructions with temperature setting guide and recipe booklet.
Bad Points
- Large basket is slightly heavy with a load.
- Some cracks and crevices around controls and dials can trap residue.
- No viewing window.
- Unit is fairly symmetrical shape, large and wide and may not fit easily into a cupboard. Takes up bench space and no handles to assist in lifting.
- Two large pull out drawers may be difficult to clean in a domestic sink.
- Drawers are reasonably heavy with a load.
- Difficult to clean and access around exposed element and metal lining. Over time may cause residue to burn on and cause the unit to expel unpleasant odours and smoke during use.
- Unit has a stainless steel front and grey exterior which is OK to wipe over. Stainless steel may show smudges.
- Control display panel has some cracks and crevices that may accumulate residue, OK to wipe over.
- Cooking bowl may require extra effort or soaking to remove any baked on residue.
- Only OK to clean and access around the exposed element. If not cleaned and build up over time, may cause residue to burn on and cause the unit to expel unpleasant odours and smoke during use.
