Phil & Teds Navigator with Inline Double Kit V2 (2014 version)
Good Points
- Main seat reclines and is suitable for newborns.
- Adjustable handle height.
- Insect net for rear seat.
- Extra seat can be mounted at the front or rear of the stroller.
- Automatic brakes.
Bad Points
- Serious safety failures: 1. The straps pose a potential strangulation risk. 2. When the second seat is front-mounted, there is a possible finger entrapment/pinching hazard to the child in the stroller.
- Minor safety failures: 1. The locking latches for the removable toddler seat are too easy to press and are accessible by the child in the stroller, although this is very unlikely to result in an occupied seat being disconnected. 2. The wrist tether strap is not permanently attached. 3. There is a pinching hazard for the adult/carer unfolding the stroller. 4. The harness did not meet all the requirements for securing the child.
- Very minor safety failure: Warning labels are not properly displayed.
- Tyre pump not included.
- Extremely hard to operate the front wheel swivel lock knob.
- The extra seat, if rear-fitted, needs to be removed before folding and refitted after unfolding.
- A bit bulky when folded, and feels very heavy, and 2 pieces to carry.
- Harness is difficult to access when the additional seat is on the rear.
