- Serious safety failure: The upper corners of the cot ends could snag onto clothing, leading to a strangulation hazard once the baby is able to sit and stand upright.
- Serious safety failure: Gaps between the slats of the mattress base are a possible limb entrapment hazard. While it's unlikely a child will access these, it is still possible.
