Kmart Anko Rattan Wooden
Good Points
- Easy to assemble.
Bad Points
- Serious safety failure: The upper corners of the cot ends are protrusions that can snag onto the child's clothing creating a potential strangulation hazard once the baby is able to sit and stand upright.
- Very minor failure of information requirements.
- Note: In response to our serious findings, Kmart says it u0022has in place robust processes to ensure products we sell are safe and comply with Australian mandatory product safety standards. We are disappointed to read CHOICE's testing observations. Kmart does not agree with CHOICE's view that the Anko Rattan Wooden cot is non-compliant with Clause 6.7 of AS/NZS 2172:2013. The product was tested by an independent accredited laboratory and found to be compliant. In that process, standards-based testing was used.u0022
