Arm's Reach Cambria Co-Sleeper 8300-N
Good Points
- Four castors with brakes.
- Bottom tray with two end pockets.
Bad Points
- Serious safety failure: After one side of the bedside sleeper is rolled down, the breathable zone reduces to less than 100mm due to the bundled-up fabric on the outside, which is a suffocation hazard.
- Serious safety failure: On our test bed, the bedside sleeper became dislodged by more than 25 mm while the lower test force was being applied at one corner.
- Serious safety failure: Fiddly to adjust the straps. It takes some effort to tighten them when securing to the bedside.
- Assembly involves securing a lot of cords and Velcro.
- Manufacturer response: The manufacturer disputes our findings and says the model has met the US bedside sleeper and bassinet safety standards. It will also start selling a version with slightly shorter straps.
