Biogone Home Compostable Cling Wrap 30m
Good Points
- Very good sealing performance score.
- Starter tab sticker to locate beginning of the cling wrap.
- No serrated edge, cling wrap has a perforated line every 30 cm. The perforated line is fairly easy to pull apart.
- Can be disposed to a home compost. If no home compost facility then dispose to general waste for landfill.
- Easily reseals to glass and ceramic only.
- No melting of cling wrap when reheating a high fat food.
- Made from plant material.
- Accreditation: Certified for home compost Australian/NZ standard AS5810.
Bad Points
- Borderline result for sealing of plastic, slight weakness of sticking in areas, unable to stick completely, starts to loose its stickiness when resealing.
- No push-in flaps to hold roll in place within the box.
- Dispensing a larger piece of the cling film can be a little awkward, you need to hold it close to the perforated area to get a clean cut, then the cling wrap can fold on itself and stick together.
- No instructions on how to open packaging.
- Packaging is weak and may come undone over time.
- May be difficult to reuse as the cling film binds together.
