Everdure by Heston Blumenthal Fusion BBQ
Good Points
- Capacity of the rotisserie is a maximum of 15kg.
- Rotoscope rotisserie poles have 3 height positions.
- Easy to assemble rotisserie with clip lock forks, stored inside BBQ.
- Retractable power cord but 1.5 meters only.
- Good open access to food.
- Easy to clean, most parts fit into a domestic sink.Note: When we originally tested, the pedestal stand was an optional extra to make it a more permanent fixture. It now comes with the barbecue.
Bad Points
- Maximum amount of charcoal is 1.2kg when igniting we found this was too much 1 kg is better.
- Rotoscope rotisserie poles are a little stiff when raising and lowering.
- Exterior temperatures can become very hot.
- Unable to use BBQ during total fire bans.
- No side panels to protect from drafts. Charcoal sits low mostly protected from the elements the lid can be used as a wind break on the back of the BBQ.
- Need to have a power source nearby.
- Chargrill rack can be lifted on one side to add or distribute charcoal, this can be difficult if you have a full rack of food cooking and it's also dangerously hot.
- Not suitable for balconies due to the amount of smoke produced.
