Expert tester comments
The ASUS Vivobook Flip 12 is a relatively inexpensive tablet-convertible laptop that's compact in size and performance. Its screen didn't fare too well in our viewing tests due to poor viewing angles and high reflectivity, which doesn't bode well if you want to use it primarily as a tablet (it also doesn't ship with a stylus). Another thing to note is that it comes with Windows 10 S, which means you will only be able to install applications from the Microsoft Store. The good news is you can upgrade to Windows 10 Pro at any time, but that means you lose the right to go back to Windows 10 S. Note: This laptop's performance is not directly comparable to current products due to it being tested with an older version of our benchmark.
