The 8th gen Apple iPad gives a good boost in performance over the 7th gen, and it also averaged over 30min more in our battery life test. It feels as solid and as comfortable to use as the previous iPad, but will still be cramped to type on when using the Smart Keyboard accessory. We wish the webcam was improved, and that it had USB-C, but nevertheless it is a worthy upgrade if you have an older standard iPad and are looking for more speed. It's also a great first iPad for anyone who has never owned one before.
