Acer's Swift 3 is a slim and light laptop that offers great mobility, and it doesn't make too many sacrifices. There is still an HDMI port, a couple of USB-A ports, and it also includes a Thunderbolt 3 port (USB-C). The only glaring omission is an SD card slot, which will leave photographers wanting. It's comfortable to use thanks to a very good keyboard and very good matte screen, and we also like the fact its battery didn't take too long to charge to 80 per cent of capacity.
